Family Medicine

Who we are

We are Ascension Wisconsin and we are starting a new family medicine residency program. We have a long tradition of supporting this residency program and the community it serves since 1972. Here we have a long and proud history of serving our Milwaukee community.

Our primary hospital partner, Ascension St. Joseph Hospital, has the academic tradition and family-centered focus of a community hospital. In addition, our residents enjoy collegial teaching and collaborations with other residents, faculty and community doctors at a variety of Milwaukee-area Ascension facilities. The Ascension Wisconsin Family Residency is a unique and exciting place to learn and to practice medicine.

The unique inpatient pediatric rotation at Ascension at Ascension St. Vincent Indiana at the renowned Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital is fully supported by the program.

Our modern Ascension Villard Avenue Family Health Center is a special place to learn and to care for our patients. A friendly and well-trained staff will provide support to you throughout your residency journey.
